Know Before You Go

Please help us make sure every Gamecock is as safe as possible when using our facilities and programs. Expand the areas below for more information.

To enter the Wellness & Fitness Center or Blatt PE Center, all patrons must present valid identification:

Physical CarolinaCard – Our preferred and most reliable method of entry.
Facility Access App – Available inside the DSE platform, this digital option can be used as an alternative for facility access.

While some program areas (such as Sport Programs) may continue to use GET Mobile for specific check-ins at activities, GET Mobile is not supported for building entry.

Each patron must use their own valid CarolinaCard or Facility Access App. Presenting someone else’s credentials—whether physical or digital—is considered misuse and may result in removal from the facility and confiscation of the card or device.

Reservations are required through DSE for the following when they are offered:

Group X classes
Climbing wall

Campus Recreation provides free equipment rentals through our Equipment Issue.
