Request Books through Find It @ USC Libraries
Sign in to Find It @ USC with your network username and password. Click Request under Get It and choose a Pickup Location. You'll receive an email confirmation when your items are ready.
General Check Out Policies
- Current USC students, faculty and staff can borrow an unlimited number of most materials
- CarolinaCard ID is required
- Lost or unreturned items are subject to replacement fees
Check Out Options:
- Borrow items at the Checkout Desk in Thomas Cooper (M-F 8am – 6pm) or Music Library (check website for hours).
- Request items through FindIt - Sign in to Find It @ USC with your network username and password. Click Request under Get It and choose a Pickup Location. Faculty and Staff may request that items are delivered to your campus office address. You'll receive an email confirmation when your items are ready.
- Use Self Check Out - Self check out of general collection materials is available during all operating hours at Thomas Cooper at the kiosk near the library exit. Users may also download the USC Libraries app available on the app store and Google Play. (Any interlibrary loans, PASCAL and reserved materials must be picked up at the Checkout Desk when the desk is open.)
Book Return Locations
- The Checkout Desk or in-wall book drop slots within the Thomas Cooper Library
- Book drop outside the entrance to Thomas Cooper Library
- Book drop outside the Music Library in the School of Music building
- Drive-up book drop on Devine St. between Callcott and the Bull Street Garage
- Drive-up book drop on the cul-de-sac in front of the Close-Hipp building

- Loaned for 3 days with 10 renewals

- Up to 2 films loaned for 2 days with 1 renewal
