Bio:

Mackenzie serves as the Administrative Specialist for the McMaster School of Visual Art & Design (SVAD), supporting faculty, students, and administrators through office coordination, scheduling, and departmental communications. Her role at SVAD also includes managing the Main Office student staff as well as serving as Building Coordinator for McMaster College. She brings prior administrative and managerial experience across academic and professional settings, with a strong foundation in organization, responsiveness, and service.

She strives to be a welcoming and reliable presence in the office—someone students and staff can turn to with questions, concerns, or when they simply need guidance navigating university processes. Her goal is to help foster a supportive, inclusive environment where students feel comfortable seeking assistance and gain confidence moving forward.

Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys tending to her houseplant garden, knitting, and caring for her “zoo” of pets.
