Located at 902 Sumter St. on the historic Horseshoe, the University of South Carolina's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management hosts a variety of dining options at the unique and historic McCutchen House.

Early Pickup: Friday, Nov. 21, and Monday, Nov. 24, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Please be sure to bring your email confirmation as your receipt and pick up your pies under the canopy in the McCutchen House parking.

Reservation Policy

McCutchen House is a restaurant learning lab operated by students in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. To ensure a high-quality learning experience and exceptional service, we accommodate a limited number of reservations and parties each day.

Please note the following reservation policies:

  • Reservations must be made by calling 803-777-4450.
  • Reservations are not confirmed until you receive a call back. Leaving a voice message does not guarantee a reservation. A team member will return your call to confirm availability.
  • We accept a limited number of reservations per day to maintain an optimal environment for student learning and guest service.
  • The maximum party size we can accommodate is 20 guests.

McCutchen House History

This beautiful home was originally built as a faculty house in 1813. Having survived the Civil War, and the ever-changing landscape of the University of South Carolina, McCutchen House is now operated by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management as a venue for dining, culinary and wine classes and special events.
