Research

My research is focused on understanding how immune responses are regulated at the epigenetic level. Specifically, we investigate the molecular mechanisms by which epigenetic modifications—including histone modifications, DNA methylation, and the activity of noncoding RNAs such as microRNAs (miRNAs) and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs)—influence immune cell function and behavior. To address these questions, we employ next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, which allow for high-resolution profiling of these regulatory layers across diverse cellular contexts. By integrating these approaches, our work aims to uncover how epigenetic programs shape immune regulation, contribute to disease processes, and potentially serve as targets for novel therapeutic strategies.
