Middle School Pre CPA Clinic

USC School of Music

The USC Choral Area will offer a Clinic Day for middle school choirs preparing for CPA in March. Bring your choir to perform for written feedback and a clinic with USC faculty members! Register early; our capacity is 22 ensembles. 

Registration opens November 15, and will close February 15, or when all time slots are full. A waiting list will be available in case of cancellations. The clinic is $45 per ensemble.

Schedule (subject to change):
Time Block 1: 9-10:30 a.m.
Time Block 2: 10:45 a.m.-noon
Time Block 3: 1-2:30 p.m.
Time Block 4: 2:45-4 p.m.

We cannot guarantee that choirs will be placed in the time slot most convenient for them, but we will attempt to accommodate requests when possible.

USC Elementary Honor Choir

Clinician: Mary Anne Tillman

Elementary music teachers are invited to nominate singers in grades 3-5 for the USC elementary Honor Choir in April 2025.
Participants will learn two pieces under the direction of Mary Anne Tillman, an outstanding music educator and choral conductor. A concert will be presented at the end of the day. Parents of participants are welcome to attend the concert.
Capacity for the choir is 80 singers.

Registration opens Januray 15 and will close on March 15, or when capacity is reached.
A waiting list will be established in case of cancellations.
Registration fee: $35 per singer. Includes music, T-shirt and lunch.

NOTE: You must pay for the number of singers you register. Substitutions may be made if necessary, however, t-shirt size cannot be guaranteed after March 15. 
When gathering your t-shirt sizes, be sure to specify youth or adult size!
